KR Narayanan is the success symbol of the downtrodden: Ramesh Chennithala
Thiruvananthapuram: Santhigiri Research Foundation organized a convention to commemorate the 11th Death Anniversary of Former President of India, KR Narayanan. The function was inaugurated by Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala. In his address, Chennithala stated that KR is the success symbol for the socially oppressed and downtrodden section of the society.
The meeting was presided over by VP Sajindran MLA, while the commemoration speech was delivered by Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi. Swami pointed out that the former first person of India was an individual who scaled great heights with his sheer dedication and mental strength. Santhigiri Research Foundation Chief Fellow Prof. K. Rajashekaran Nair delivered the welcome address while the meeting was concluded with the vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. K. Gopinathan Pillai. The special meeting was held at Hassan Marakkar Hall, Palayam.
