Pothencode: Forest Department Minister A.K. Sashindran praised Santhigiri Ashram for promoting harmony and unity through the concept of the ‘Wild Garden’, an initiative launched as part of the Santhigiri Fest City. Speaking at the inauguration of the garden, the Minister emphasized the beauty of nature when it thrives in mutual coexistence and highlighted the Ashram’s message of harmony that transcends differences.
“Nature belongs to all living beings, and every creature has the right to live in balance and harmony,” said the Minister. He commended Santhigiri’s efforts in advocating for nature conservation and spreading a message that reflects a world without enmity, where nothing is dependent on or hostile to anything else. Such noble initiatives, according to the Minister, are essential to preventing environmental disasters. He applauded Santhigiri for organizing meaningful programs that blend devotion, joy, art, and environmental care, showcasing a model for sustainable living.
Ashram General Secretary Swami Gururatnam Jnana Thapasvi presided over the event, while Swami Nirmohatma Jnana Thapasvi, the Ashram’s Vice President, graced the occasion. Other notable attendees included NCP District President Aji Atukal, Swami Jyothirprakash, Janani Karunashree, Jabirkhan, Karakulam Natarajan, Karakulam Vasantha, Shofi K., and Nasaruddin.
