The Santhigiri Ashram, Palarivattom Branch was started on a 20 cent plot donated by a local devotee near Palarivattom in Eranakulam district, the IT and commercial hub of Kerala. Guru consecrated the ‘Omkaram’ and lit the lamp here on 15th January, 1979.
A new Ashram building was dedicated to Guru on 25th April, 1996.
A working women’s hostel started under this Ashram Branch provides safe, comfortable and clean accommodation and food for working women and students.
‘Santhigiri Travels’, a tourist bus operation started under this Ashram, has further branched out to ‘Janapriya Travels’ and ‘Janamahima Travels’.
Santhigiri Ayurveda & Siddha clinics are functioning at several places in the city.
